About
Collins Nnalue Udanor has extensive experience in artificial intelligence (machine learning), the Internet of Things (IoT), and high-performance computing. He designed and implemented key Distributed Computing Infrastructures, including the LIONGRID-UNN-NG and Lion Cloud for academic research.
As director of the High Performance and Intelligence Computing (HiPIC) Lab, he leads applied AI research in several key areas. His work includes natural language processing for social media analysis; Health Informatics for predicting diseases like stroke and sickle cell anemia; and Agro-Informatics, using IoT sensor data to predict catfish yields.
A recipient of several international grants like the Lacuna Fund for Agriculture, Dr. Udanor has successfully managed numerous projects. Notably, he led the team that developed the Pidgin language version of the Google Search Engine in 2011.
