About
Deborah Damilola Adeyemo’s work intersects the fields of AI law, international law, human rights, and the complex challenges of misinformation. She will spearhead the project’s policy initiatives, applying her expertise in law to embed AI safety within regulatory structures and to formulate inclusive, context-aware policies for the Global South. Her background includes collaborative, multidisciplinary research with experts in AI and health on the application of artificial intelligence to maternal health in Nigeria. Previously, she provided essential legal expertise for a research project focused on digital rights, data protection, and the ethical considerations of responsible AI deployment.
