About
Filippo serves as a Program Manager within the Pan-Canadian Al Strategy at CIFAR. In this capacity, he leads the management of the Canada CIFAR AI Chairs and Insights for Policymakers programs. He provides institutional guidance to Al Talents while acting as a liaison with partner Al Institutes. Filippo also contributes to CIFAR’s organization- wide Program Monitoring and Evaluation Standing Committees.
Prior to joining CIFAR, Filippo worked at Frontiers Media SA, a leading global scientific publisher. As part of the Research & Publishing Development division, he managed editorial boards and digital projects within high-impact journals in the Health and Biomedicine portfolio.
Filippo holds a doctorate from the University of Toronto and has published books and articles focused on health policy. He has collaborated with the World Health Organization’s MindBank Database for developing of a comprehensive research database covering UN jurisdictions.
