Mohamed Abdalla est titulaire d’une chaire en IA Canada-CIFAR à l’Amii, professeur adjoint au département de médecine et professeur associé au département d’informatique de l’Université de l’Alberta. Ses recherches se situent à l’intersection du traitement du langage naturel, de l’informatique clinique et de l’éthique de l’IA. Il cherche plus particulièrement à identifier et à combler les lacunes dans le transfert de la recherche universitaire en IA vers des applications cliniques concrètes.
