Sloan pour soutenir la recherche sur des syst\u00e8mes IA plus polyvalents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le programme Apprentissage automatique, apprentissage biologique&nbsp;du CIFAR, qui a jou&eacute; un r&ocirc;le majeur dans la r&eacute;volution de l&rsquo;IA en examinant comment les r&eacute;seaux neuronaux artificiels pouvaient s&rsquo;inspirer du cerveau humain, a re&ccedil;u une subvention de 475 000 $US de la Fondation Alfred P. Sloan pour soutenir de nouvelles recherches sur les notions de causalit&eacute;.<\/p>\n<p>\nLa subvention permettra de faire &eacute;voluer la compr&eacute;hension de l&rsquo;apprentissage de la repr&eacute;sentation causale afin de mettre au point des mod&egrave;les causals structuraux polyvalents qui permettront aux machines d&rsquo;effectuer de multiples t&acirc;ches dans divers environnements en utilisant les m&ecirc;mes ensembles de donn&eacute;es.<\/p>\n<p>\nActuellement, de nombreuses applications industrielles reposent sur l&rsquo;apprentissage par renforcement supervis&eacute;. Cette forme d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique exige d&rsquo;&eacute;tiqueter de grandes quantit&eacute;s de donn&eacute;es qui sont utilis&eacute;es pour aider les machines &agrave; effectuer une seule t&acirc;che. Dans certaines circonstances, il n&rsquo;est pas possible d&rsquo;&eacute;tiqueter de grands ensembles de donn&eacute;es, en raison de contraintes de temps ou de co&ucirc;t. L&rsquo;apprentissage de la repr&eacute;sentation causale permettra de cr&eacute;er des syst&egrave;mes plus efficaces et plus robustes qui seront en mesure de r&eacute;soudre une gamme de probl&egrave;mes r&eacute;els avec des ensembles de donn&eacute;es pr&eacute;existants plut&ocirc;t que de construire de nouveaux ensembles pour des t&acirc;ches ou des environnements distincts.<\/p>\n<p>\n&laquo; Le CIFAR est heureux de recevoir le g&eacute;n&eacute;reux soutien de la Fondation Alfred P. Il a jou&eacute; un r&ocirc;le d&eacute;terminant dans l&rsquo;&eacute;tablissement du leadership mondial du Canada en IA.
