Voil\u00e0 une question complexe \u00e0 laquelle <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/jihua-hao\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jihua Hao<\/a> tente de r\u00e9pondre en mod\u00e9lisant l&rsquo;environnement \u00e0 la surface de la Terre ancienne.<\/h4>\r\n<p>\u00ab C&rsquo;\u00e9tait un environnement tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent de celui d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui &#8211; pas d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re, pas de v\u00e9g\u00e9tation au sol. Pour \u00e9tudier les premi\u00e8res conditions environnementales de la Terre susceptibles d&rsquo;entretenir la vie, je me concentre sur les nutriments essentiels \u00e0 la vie \u00bb, explique Jihua Hao, membre du programme des <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/chercheurs-mondiaux-cifar-azrieli\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chercheurs mondiaux CIFAR-Azrieli<\/a> au sein du programme <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/programmes-de-recherche\/terre-4d-science-et-exploration-du-sous-sol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terre 4D<\/a> et chercheur scientifique principal \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 des sciences et technologies de Chine \u00e0 Hefei, Anhui (Chine).<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00c0 l&rsquo;aide de techniques exp\u00e9rimentales et de simulations th\u00e9oriques, Hao reproduit les conditions de la plan\u00e8te il y a 2,5 milliards d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es et \u00e9tudie la chimie des \u00e9l\u00e9ments bio-essentiels, comme le phosphore, le soufre et les m\u00e9taux qui composent les enzymes. Il simule principalement le comportement de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments bio-essentiels dans des conditions anoxiques et acides.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/JihauHao_web.png\" alt=\"JihauHao_web\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"778\" width=\"800\" title=\"JihauHao_web\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t<h5><strong>\u00ab Le CIFAR est une excellente plateforme pour approfondir mes connaissances et mes recherches. \u00bb<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n\t<p>Pendant ses travaux de doctorat, il a d\u00e9couvert que certains nutriments pouvaient limiter plus que d&rsquo;autres le maintien de la vie primitive.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00ab Ces r\u00e9sultats m&rsquo;ont beaucoup emball\u00e9 et j&rsquo;ai h\u00e2te de contribuer davantage \u00e0 notre compr\u00e9hension de la vie sur la Terre ancienne \u00bb, ajoute Hao.<\/p>\r\n<p>Hao applique aussi ses techniques \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tude de l&rsquo;habitabilit\u00e9 sur d&rsquo;autres plan\u00e8tes, y compris la chimie de l&rsquo;eau de l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur d&rsquo;Encelade, une lune de Saturne.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00ab Encelade est recouverte d&rsquo;une couche de glace de plusieurs kilom\u00e8tres d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur, mais en dessous il y a un oc\u00e9an liquide. J&rsquo;\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s curieux de d\u00e9couvrir les \u00e9l\u00e9ments nutritifs et organiques pr\u00e9sents dans cet oc\u00e9an. Nous avons obtenu des r\u00e9sultats passionnants que nous esp\u00e9rons publier bient\u00f4t \u00bb, explique-t-il.<\/p>\r\n<p>Hao est \u00e9galement ravi de travailler \u00e0 un autre projet en collaboration avec B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte M\u00e9nez, sp\u00e9cialiste-conseils du programme Terre 4D. Ils ont recours \u00e0 des techniques d&rsquo;analyse et de mod\u00e9lisation pour comprendre le processus de formation des mati\u00e8res organiques pr\u00e9sentes dans les roches remplies de liquide. \u00ab C&rsquo;est un endroit bien particulier pour trouver des mati\u00e8res organiques enrichies, explique Hao. <\/p>\r\n<p>Si ces mati\u00e8res organiques peuvent \u00eatre synth\u00e9tis\u00e9es naturellement sans l&rsquo;influence de la vie dans la roche, nous pourrions alors mieux comprendre comment la vie a commenc\u00e9 sur Terre. \u00bb<\/p>\r\n<p>Bien que ses travaux se tournent vers le bas, dans le sous-sol, et vers le haut, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 d&rsquo;autres plan\u00e8tes, Hao jette aussi son regard vers l&rsquo;avenir. Il esp\u00e8re mettre \u00e0 profit les liens qu&rsquo;il a tiss\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce au CIFAR pour faire avancer ses recherches et enrichir le domaine de l&rsquo;astrobiologie en Chine.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00ab Je suis honor\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00eatre membre du programme des chercheurs mondiaux, d\u00e9clare-t-il. Le CIFAR est une excellente plateforme pour approfondir mes connaissances et mes recherches. Comme il n&rsquo;y a pas encore de programme de ce type en Chine, j&rsquo;esp\u00e8re pouvoir tirer parti de cette formidable occasion pour devenir un expert de premier plan en astrobiologie.
