Il ne sera pas facile de trouver r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 des questions d&rsquo;une telle envergure. <\/h3>\r\n<p>N\u00e9anmoins, la nouvelle cohorte du <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/initiatives-a-lintention-de-la-prochaine-generation\/chercheurs-mondiaux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">programme des chercheurs mondiaux CIFAR-Azrieli<\/a> se concentre sur des initiatives de recherche avanc\u00e9es qui pourraient mener \u00e0 un monde meilleur.<\/p>\r\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e, 16 remarquables scientifiques en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re se joindront au prestigieux programme des chercheurs mondiaux CIFAR-Azrieli, une initiative ambitieuse qui offre deux ans de financement de recherche sans restriction \u00e0 des scientifiques de talent, en vue de trouver r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 des questions importantes et urgentes auxquelles la science et l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9 sont confront\u00e9es.<\/p>\r\n<p>Outre le financement de projets, le programme offre \u00e0 ses membres quelque chose de tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cieux : la possibilit\u00e9 de travailler aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de scientifiques de renom, leaders dans leur domaine, dans le cadre d&rsquo;une collaboration interdisciplinaire et mondiale.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Ce programme se distingue par l&rsquo;association du mentorat, du r\u00e9seautage mondial, du perfectionnement des comp\u00e9tences professionnelles et du financement\u2009\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Stephen Toope, pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction du CIFAR. \u00ab\u2009Le CIFAR estime que les collaborations de cette nature constituent des catalyseurs de d\u00e9couverte et ouvrent de nouvelles voies de r\u00e9flexion entre les r\u00e9seaux mondiaux et interdisciplinaires. Je tiens \u00e0 remercier la Fondation Azrieli du soutien continu qu&rsquo;elle accorde \u00e0 ce programme transformateur.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\r\n<p>Le processus de recrutement de la derni\u00e8re cohorte a suscit\u00e9 245 candidatures admissibles provenant de 43 pays. Les 16 personnes s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es se joindront \u00e0 cinq programmes du CIFAR. Il s&rsquo;agit des plus remarquables scientifiques en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle mondiale bas\u00e9s dans des \u00e9tablissements au Canada, aux \u00c9tats-Unis, en Chine, en France, en Isra\u00ebl et aux \u00c9mirats arabes unis. Cette nouvelle cohorte pr\u00e9sente aussi une richesse g\u00e9ographique li\u00e9e aux pays d&rsquo;origine des membres : Autriche, Hong Kong, Jama\u00efque, Royaume-Uni et Zambie.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Nous sommes ravis d&rsquo;accueillir un groupe diversifi\u00e9 et interdisciplinaire de scientifiques de talent au sein de la nouvelle cohorte des chercheurs mondiaux CIFAR-Azrieli\u2009\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Rachel Parker, directrice principale de la Recherche au CIFAR. \u00ab\u2009Les travaux explor\u00e9s par ce groupe exceptionnel remettent en question les normes et repoussent les limites.
