Leurs travaux apportent de nouvelles perspectives sur la fa\u00e7on dont l\u2019environnement de la petite enfance, les communaut\u00e9s microbiennes et les syst\u00e8mes physiologiques interagissent pour influencer le d\u00e9veloppement, la maladie et la r\u00e9silience.<\/p>\n<h4>La recherche audacieuse, un moteur de d\u00e9couverte<\/h4>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce au soutien apport\u00e9 \u00e0 des projets de recherche audacieux et \u00e0 fort potentiel, ce partenariat a permis aux membres du CIFAR d\u2019explorer des questions fondamentales en biologie humaine. Les r\u00e9sultats suivants, qui d\u00e9coulent des plus r\u00e9centes subventions Manuvie-CIFAR en sant\u00e9 et en bien-\u00eatre, t\u00e9moignent de l\u2019impact de ce soutien\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cartographier l\u2019impact g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel de l\u2019environnement\u00a0: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/katherine-r-amato-2\/\">Katherine Amato<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/programmes-de-recherche\/microbiome-humain\/\">Microbiome humain<\/a>) et <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/thomas-mcdade\/\">Thom McDade<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/programmes-de-recherche\/developpement-du-cerveau-et-de-lenfant\/\">D\u00e9veloppement du cerveau et de l\u2019enfant<\/a>), membres du CIFAR, ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les expositions environnementales pendant la petite enfance expliquent \u00e0 77\u00a0% les m\u00e9canismes fonctionnels qui font la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me digestif d\u2019un adulte. Ces travaux nous ont permis de mieux comprendre comment nos premiers environnements s\u2019int\u00e9riorisent pour d\u00e9terminer notre \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 des dizaines d\u2019ann\u00e9es plus tard.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Comprendre les moteurs de la malnutrition infantile\u00a0: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/eran-elinav\/\">Eran Elinav<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/philippe-j-sansonetti\/\">Philippe Sansonetti<\/a>, membres du programme Microbiome humain du CIFAR, ont rep\u00e9r\u00e9 des facteurs particuliers du microbiome \u00e0 l\u2019origine du dysfonctionnement de la barri\u00e8re intestinale, un facteur cl\u00e9 du retard de croissance de millions d\u2019enfants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale. Leur \u00e9quipe a pass\u00e9 au crible 14\u2009000\u00a0petites mol\u00e9cules afin de cerner des candidats th\u00e9rapeutiques prometteurs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Explorer le lien entre les poumons et le cerveau\u00a0: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/brian-dias\/\">Brian Dias<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/staci-bilbo\/\">Staci Bilbo<\/a>, membres du programme D\u00e9veloppement du cerveau et de l\u2019enfant du CIFAR, ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 comment les poumons communiquent avec le cerveau par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire de v\u00e9sicules extracellulaires (VE). Ces recherches ont examin\u00e9 comment des facteurs comme la \u00ab\u2009COVID longue\u2009\u00bb et l\u2019exposition \u00e0 la pollution atmosph\u00e9rique pendant l\u2019enfance pourraient avoir un lien avec une incidence accrue de la d\u00e9pression plus tard dans la vie.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R\u00e9gulation hormonale par les microorganismes intestinaux\u00a0:<\/strong> Sous la direction de <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/carolina-tropini\/\">Carolina Tropini<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/naama-geva-zatorsky\/\">Naama Geva-Zatorsky<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/cifar.ca\/fr\/biographie\/martin-blaser\/\">Martin Blaser<\/a>, membres du programme Microbiome humain, une \u00e9quipe de recherche a d\u00e9couvert que les microorganismes intestinaux peuvent avoir une influence interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnelle sur les taux d\u2019hormones de stress, m\u00eame en l\u2019absence de maladie. Ces travaux ont men\u00e9 \u00e0 la conception d\u2019un nouveau biocapteur bact\u00e9rien apte \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter ces interactions en temps r\u00e9el.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mod\u00e8les sanitaires \u00e9volutifs\u00a0: perspectives\u00a0: <\/strong>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude des variations cycliques du microbiome chez les orangs-outans sauvages, les membres du programme Microbiome humain ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 comment la diversit\u00e9 alimentaire saisonni\u00e8re contribue \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 et \u00e0 la long\u00e9vit\u00e9. Ces travaux nous ont permis de comprendre que la pr\u00e9servation de la sant\u00e9 humaine \u00e0 travers des compromis environnementaux pourrait s\u2019inscrire dans un mod\u00e8le plus dynamique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Les bases de l\u2019innovation future<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats continuent de jeter les bases d\u2019interventions ax\u00e9es sur le microbiote afin de r\u00e9tablir l\u2019\u00e9quilibre hormonal et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique, tout en \u00e9tablissant de nouveaux domaines de recherche sur le comportement humain et l\u2019apprentissage. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mobilisation des plus brillants cerveaux du monde par-del\u00e0 les disciplines, les membres du CIFAR continuent de se pencher sur des questions scientifiques fondamentales en vue de contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9solution de certains des plus grands d\u00e9fis sanitaires de l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Par l\u2019entremise de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.manulife.com\/ca\/fr\/about-us\/longevity-institute\">Institut de la long\u00e9vit\u00e9<\/a>, une plateforme mondiale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la recherche, au leadership \u00e9clair\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019innovation, \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense des int\u00e9r\u00eats et \u00e0 l\u2019investissement communautaire, Manuvie s\u2019engage \u00e0 faire progresser les connaissances fond\u00e9es sur les donn\u00e9es probantes qui aident les gens \u00e0 vivre plus longtemps et en meilleure sant\u00e9.
