About

Lewis Kay’s laboratory focuses on the development of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques to study the structure and dynamics of large molecules, especially proteins. The group’s goal is to apply these NMR techniques to solve problems of biological and clinical importance. The findings have implications for our understanding of diseases and how to cure or prevent them.
