About

Physicist Raymond Laflamme is interested in theoretical methods for error control in quantum devices, the use of quantum computers to simulate quantum systems, and the experimental implementation of small quantum information processing devices using spins (nuclear or electronic) and photons.

Laflamme, together with Don Page, was responsible for changing Stephen Hawking’s mind on the reversal of the direction of time in a contracting universe (see Hawking’s book A Brief History of Time).
