Alison is an award-winning communications strategist with 15 years of experience using research and storytelling to drive organizational goals. In her role at CIFAR, she shapes key strategic initiatives, including the recent refresh of the organization’s brand strategy. Her work focuses on translating complex ideas into clear narratives that resonate with global audiences.
Throughout her career in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, Alison has managed large-scale projects, including the National Payroll Institute’s rebrand and multi-channel campaigns for B2B and B2C markets. Her background includes roles at Forests Canada and Wolters Kluwer, where she led communications for initiatives focused on sustainability, financial literacy and workplace efficiency.
She holds an MA in Literature and a BA (Honours), complemented by several professional certificates in specialized communications and management.
