About
David Harris-Koblin is Program Manager, AI & Society at CIFAR. In his role, he provides administrative support and leadership to the development and execution of all the AI & Society programming.
David specializes in designing and managing programs that address societal challenges while fostering collaboration and innovation. Before joining CIFAR, David worked in progressive roles at the Future Skills Centre & the Diversity Institute, managing Pan-Canadian projects with a focus on skills development and training in historically marginalized communities. In addition, he has nonprofit experience working in a variety of policy areas including harm reduction, prison reform, and disability studies.
David holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English, History, and American studies as well as a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Victoria.
