About
David Harris-Koblin is the Program Manager for AI & Society at CIFAR. In this role, he leads the development and execution of all AI & Society programming, providing both strategic leadership and administrative oversight.
David specializes in building collaborative programs that find innovative solutions to social challenges. Before joining CIFAR, he held progressive roles at the Future Skills Centre and the Diversity Institute, where he managed Pan-Canadian projects focused on skills development and training in historically marginalized communities. His professional background also includes nonprofit experience across several policy areas, including climate change, prison reform and disability studies.
David holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria, a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, History and American Studies, also from the University of Toronto.
