Advisor, Government Relations
Gaga is an Advisor, Government and Public Policy at CIFAR. She supports the Knowledge Mobilization team by maintaining and expanding CIFAR’s partnerships with provincial and federal governments and works with a key focus on the AI & Society Program.
Prior to joining CIFAR, Gaga served in the Ontario Public Service at the Ministry of Education, where she helped drive the Ministry’s equity and inclusion mandate with her work on the Education Equity Action Plan. She also supported the launch of the Centre for Policy Innovation and Public Engagement at Ryerson University, where she continues to conduct research in the field of public sector innovation and engage governments in new ways of thinking about policy development.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, English, and Business from the University of Waterloo.
