About

Ming Lei, executive director of the Institute of Precision Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was previously a faculty member at the University of Michigan. Currently, the research goal in Lei’s lab is to understand the organization and dynamics of macromolecular assemblies important for genome regulation and stability. With a combination of structural analyses, such as X-ray crystallography, nuclear magnetic resonance and electron microscopy, coupled with biochemical and cell biology approaches, his lab has made important contributions to the telomere biology field. Lei has published more than 60 Science Citation Index (SCI) papers.
