Paula Driedger

Program Manager, Next Generation Initiatives

About

As Program Manager, Next Generation Initiatives at CIFAR, Paula Driedger provides project management and administration for the CIFAR Global Scholars program. She also contributes her organizational skills to other CIFAR initiatives for early-career researchers, such as the Women in Research Leadership Development Symposium. She is inspired by the boundless creativity and energy that is sparked among the emerging research leaders who engage in these opportunities for interdisciplinary exploration and collaboration.

Paula is proud to have developed her nearly 30-year career at CIFAR. Past projects have included managing the production of CIFAR’s Annual Performance Report (2001-2016), coordinating program reporters, supporting many five-year program reviews, administering CIFAR’s Junior Fellow Academy (2008-2014) and many others.

She holds a Master of Information degree with a concentration in Library and Information Science from the University of Toronto. She previously completed a BA in French from the University of Waterloo and two years of study at Laval University in Quebec City.
