About
Wanying Zhao is Director, Research and Lead, Learning & Evaluation at CIFAR. In this role, she provides intellectual stewardship for programs in CIFAR’s research portfolio and leads learning and evaluation initiatives to enhance the delivery of CIFAR’s strategic objectives.
Prior to joining CIFAR, Wanying led data analytics initiatives and outcome measurement for a $100M+ annual granting portfolio at the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Wanying holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto.
