About
Yoon-Ji Kweon is a Research Officer with CIFAR’s Next Generation Initiatives team. She has a Master’s in Sociology from the University of Toronto, and previously worked as a research analyst at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
Yoon-Ji’s research interests are in the affective and relational dimensions of technology, especially around ethical AI governance, and she has co-authored journal publications on digital disinformation education and online political polarization.
With her background in research project management and grant proposal coordination, Yoon-Ji is committed to supporting early-career researchers globally and across disciplines.
