About
Yosra Kazemi completed her PhD in Computer Science at Queen’s University, specializing in applied machine learning, reinforcement learning and causal inference. Following research and industry experiences in Canada and France, she has pursued a career at the intersection of AI research, education and leadership. She has held positions as an AI Research Associate at Queen’s University and as a Program & Curriculum Manager for the AI4Good Lab, where she led applied research, developed ML/AI curricula, mentored emerging researchers and built reproducible AI prototypes. Her work spans causal reinforcement learning, generative AI systems and responsible AI education.
