Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau meets with newly minted Canada CIFAR Artificial Intelligence Chairs.
Ahead of the G7 Conference on AI, The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau met with some of the researchers who were appointed as Canada CIFAR Artificial Intelligence Chairs at AICan in Montreal, Que.
The Dec. 3 event announced $30 million in funding intended to keep Canada at the forefront of cutting-edge AI research. A total of 29 researchers were named as part of the $125 million Pan-Canadian AI Strategy.
