Open call for high school students: participate in Positively AI, a think tank by CIFAR and TELUS

Did you know AI is already being used to detect cancer, predict and prevent future famine, clean oceans and forecast wildfires? Can you imagine other opportunities where AI can be used for positive change?

If you are a high school student in the GTA interested in how AI can be used for societal good in areas such as mental health, the climate crisis, and education, then apply now to participate in our Positively AI ThinkTank. Here, you will be able to collaborate with thought leaders for a discussion of AI’s potential across sectors.

This think tank is being hosted by the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR), a Canadian-based global research organization, in partnership with TELUS, a dynamic, world-leading communications technology company.

You must be available to attend this in-person filmed workshop on November 29, 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the CIFAR office, located in MaRS Centre, West Tower (661 University Avenue, Suite 505, Toronto, Ontario).
