Washington Post | Modern capitalism is inseparable from surveillance

Kenneth Lipartito, a fellow in the CIFAR Innovation, Equity & the Future of Prosperity program wrote in the Washington Post on September 22, 2021 about the history of surveillance capitalism, noting that although U.S. government surveillance is bound by constitutional protections, industrial surveillance systems that are ubiquitous today operate with few constraints.
