About
Neerjah holds a Master’s in Translational Research from the University of Toronto. Her Capstone Project applied co-design methodologies to develop design principles that help Adult Day Centres deliver virtual programming for seniors. In 2021, she was awarded the CABHI
Spark grant to implement evidence-based virtual programming that enhances accessibility and engagement for older adults.
Before joining CIFAR, Neerjah was the Partner Engagement Manager at the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH). In this role, she led cross-sector collaborations among disease-focused communities in cancer, neuroscience, infectious disease, and more, advancing
the development and adoption of genomic data sharing standards. Neerjah also holds a PMP certification, which she applies to effectively manage activities across a broad range of research areas.
