Toronto Star | Can we make artificial intelligence less racist?

The Toronto Star published an article on June 22, 2022, interviewing Elissa Strome, Executive Director of the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy, and Golnoosh Farnadi, Canada CIFAR AI Chair about racial bias in AI. They recognize the issue as critical, often caused by a lack of awareness, and offer ideas for possible solutions.
