SUPPORT THE FUTURES FUND

The pandemic thrust science onto centre stage — around the globe, and at the dinner table.

The international scientific community has never demonstrated more creativity, curiosity, and cooperation than in the recent race to understand and halt the COVID-19 virus. This spirit will propel us into a prosperous and sustainable future.

For 40 years, CIFAR has convened the brightest minds, across geography and discipline, to ask questions that have never been asked before — and to address them in novel ways.

Join us in addressing the most pressing issues facing science and humanity, with a gift to the Futures Fund.

CIFAR programs bring together the best research talent to tackle the most important questions. Many new ideas have been sparked by program interactions. These are sometimes manifest in new collaboration and at other times, more subtly, in charting the most promising paths of investigation in our field.
