Scientific American published an article on January 5, 2022, highlighting work done in part by Canada CIFAR AI Chair, Russell Greiner, on an algorithm called DarkNPS. The algorithm helps to identify potential designer drugs that may not even exist yet, allowing governments to stay one step ahead.
