Join us for AICan 2021, the third annual meeting of the CIFAR Pan-Canadian AI Strategy.

This year’s virtual symposium will include special content for the public, and is open to trainees (undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral level), researchers, and thought leaders across all disciplines, sectors and industries. There will be a dedicated program during the week for Canadian-based trainees, and a scientific workshop for Canada CIFAR AI Chairs.

Our public program will include:

  • A special announcement of the Canada CIFAR AI Chairs Program;
  • Panel discussions on AI Research for Good and Canada’s leadership in AI policy; and,
  • A 3-Minute Impact Competition, to showcase some of our amazing trainees.

Canada CIFAR AI Chairs Program

Thursday & Friday, Jan. 21-22, 2021

This is a closed workshop for Canada CIFAR AI Chairs. Programming will include panels and roundtable discussions on the latest AI research themes, including health, climate/energy, advances in deep learning and reinforcement learning, robotics, natural language processing, and more.
